About the Show
Hanako’s act includes a messy, food-based performance during the final song. Please read the following performance notes carefully:
Items Commonly Used
Toilet paper, flour, bread crumbs, juice, noodles, tofu, natto, kimchi, soy milk, dairy products, dog food, eggs, etc.
(Some may be thrown or sprayed at the audience.)
Important Details
Once confirmed, the performance content cannot be altered.
The performer may descend from the stage and interact with the audience, but stage equipment will not be affected.
Audience members will be warned in advance, and trash bags will be handed out for protection if needed.
No venue floor protection (e.g., plastic sheeting) will be provided by the performer. Although I, the writer of this page, may consider providing tarp or similar.
A brief cleanup (5 minutes) is done by Hanako and volunteers after the performance.
Trash disposal after the show is the responsibility of the venue or organizer.

Though the lyrics are in Japanese, the ferocity and aggressive delivery transcend language barriers—expressing darkness, despair, and power of her lyrics through sheer emotional force.

Even without shared language, she connects with the crowd through raw emotion, intensity, and an instinct for live performance that transcends borders.
Kawaii
Hanako-san is a hardcore Harajuku Lolita fashionista through and through, blending sugar-sweet aesthetics with unrelenting intensity.
This fierce fusion of kawaii and brutality is her signature contradiction, and it’s unforgettable.

If you wish to book Hanako for an event outside of Japan, please ensure the following:
Venue Requirements
A venue where it is permitted for the performer to throw food or spray liquids as part of the performance
Due to the physical and logistical demands of the performance, Hanako can only accept up to 2 shows per week.
Travel expense Requirements
- Round-trip airfare
- Hotel accommodations
- Meals/food and drink costs
Ticket Commission Requirements
Hanako receives 30% of the ticket price for each ticket sold specifically for her appearance.
Interpreter
One same-gender interpreter (fluent in both Japanese and the local language) must be available during the event.

What if I don’t want the messy show?
If the venue does not agree to the above conditions—especially those involving messy performance elements—Hanako will decline the booking.
Can I book multiple shows back to back?
Due to the physical and logistical demands of the performance, Hanako can only accept up to 2 shows per week.
